Always & Forever…JESUS

Monday, July 24th, 2017

So today, my decision is to keep Jesus as number one. He’s always there to help me, to lead me, and to guide me.  I will forever give Him thanks.

Psalms 103:KJV
1Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Is there anything, anyone as great as our God?  Nothing compares to the goodness and the mercies of Almighty God! NO thing, NO person!
So, while I sit here at the keyboard, my mind is relaxed and in ‘praise mode’. I rejoice in His goodness, and His mercy. He keeps on doing great things for me whereof I am glad.  I’m mindful each and every day that:
  • He saved me
  • He delivered me
  • He continues to bless me, my family and loved ones
  • He’s keeps watching over me, and preparing my way.

So, as the song says…. “I will trust HIM” because He’s faithful to His Word.  I encourage you to spend more time with Him. Read His Word daily and continue in prayer.

God bless you,

The Answer, The Rock

Thursday, July 6th, 2017

I guess that we all need a little help from time to time. I mean, I never have all the answers, as much as I’d love to think that I do. But, I know the one ‘true’ answer to all of my discomforts, diseases, and stress… JESUS CHRIST, and  Him alone!

The old song, “I Go to the Rock” rings throughout my being.

Where do I go when there’s nobody else to turn to?
Who do I talk to when nobody wants to listen?
Who do I lean on when there’s no foundation stable?
I go to The Rock
I know He’s able
I go to The Rock!
I’m thinking we all need that little encouragement.  Don’t let a day go by without running toward The Rock!

I run to Him,

Complete n Content

Friday, June 23rd, 2017

I stand, complete in Jesus
My heart is fixed on Him.
He’s taken all my fears away,
My eyes no longer dim.

I find complete fulfillment,
As I live this life for Him.
He’s everything I ever hope for,
And with Him I always win!

For In Him I live and move and have my being.
I rejoice to sing His songs.
I will never cease to praise Him.
For to Jesus, I BELONG!

1 Timothy 6: 3-7
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Did You Quit?

Tuesday, June 13th, 2017

In the midst of the storm, In the midst of the test.
How many times have you said…
I’m just gonna stop, and take a short rest…
Not considering the outcome instead.

I’m tired, I’m weak, I’m weary, I’m worn…
Just a few of the words we’ve expressed.
But I learn in the hard times, the times of the test…
My trust is in Jesus, God know the best!

Jeremiah 29:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Don’t become weary. Don’t give up, don’t quit.
In the end…. WE WIN!

So Grateful

Friday, May 26th, 2017

Just sitting here, lost in thought regarding those who have fought for our country, and those who have fought for the Kingdom of God.  Soldiers of war, naturally and spiritually.I’m wondering what they would say with the state of the church.

The church should be setting the pace for the things of this world. And yet, we seem to have been getting caught up with this old world’s way of thinking and acting. Our words and our actions should be lining up with God’s Word.  He’s not changing according to our ‘times’ and our emotions. His Word is sure, and is from everlasting to everlasting.

I’m challenged to pray for our nation, our leaders, our spiritual leaders.  God’s Word is still our instruction manual.  His Word is still true, and the basis for our everyday living. I cannot and shall not be ‘moved’.
